Alex Taylor - Kulam Yachad
Music is the soul of the human race. It transcends age, gender, religion
and culture. Some rabbis have said that the universal language, spoken
before the Tower of Babel, was music. The Hebrew words Kulam
Yachad (all together) reflect the abiding power of music as a force
that unifies and unites.
In my own life experience, music has been a powerful force that has brought
me closer to others. Whether I have been sitting around a campfire and
singing with friends, playing guitar for senior citizens at a local daycare
center, or chanting prayers in my local synagogue, I feel the power that
music has to bring people together.
With this website, I'd like to share some of my music and the amazing
gifts that it brings to everyone.
I invite you to explore this site and its contents, to listen
to my music and to learn more about who I am. In the coming weeks,
I'll be adding to this site, including a place for you to preview
and purchase my recordings and educational materials -- including the Kulam
Yachad musical guides to the Jewish liturgy. I look forward to your comments.
Welcome, and thanks for stopping by!
L'Shalom,
Alex Taylor
